The problem
Landlords were keeping rent records in notebooks and chat threads. Knowing who had paid, who owed and how much meant digging through messages, and tenants kept calling to ask for their balance.
What we built
A web application where properties, tenants, deposits and repairs live in one place. Every tenant gets a private portal showing their balance and payment history, with the option to pay by M-Pesa.
Payments to the Paybill are matched to the right tenant automatically, and tenants are sent an SMS when a payment lands. Landlords get arrears tracking and analytics, and tenants can submit repair requests.

The result
The application centralizes rental management workflows, helping landlords organize property records, monitor rent payments, and manage tenant information. Tenants can access their own portals to check balances and payment histories, make payments through M-Pesa, and submit maintenance requests.
